First loop of pipework completes hydrotest

The first loops of pipework associated with the fire protection system in the first electrical building has successfully completed its hydrotest. This marks the first installed loops within a permanent structure, designed to supply water to the building in the event of a fire.

The hydrotests were carried out in four parts across the two levels of the building, with each series testing around 175 metres of pipework. Its installation was particularly complex compared to other pipework we’ve installed so far. This milestone represents the first of many loops that MEH will be responsible for delivering.
