MEH welcomes 41 apprentices to Hinkley Point C Site

The MEH Alliance is thrilled to announce the arrival of a talented group of apprentices to the Hinkley Point C site. With 11 survey apprentices, 10 welding apprentices, and 20 electrical apprentices joining our workforce, their presence not only contributes significantly to the project but also helps to boost the number of apprentices in the construction industry.
Our first cohort of survey apprentices will work alongside qualified surveyors on site, assisting in crucial tasks such as measuring and mapping permanent fixtures for installation. Meanwhile, our welding apprentices, who are in their second year of apprenticeship, have been assigned to handle mechanical, electrical, and HVAC work on site for the next two years.
To support our Energisation of Auxiliary Transformer milestone, a group of 20 electrical apprentices from NG Bailey and Balfour Beatty have joined us. They will be responsible for undertaking electrical works, contributing to the efficient and reliable operation of the project’s electrical systems.
We extend a warm welcome to all the apprentices, and we are excited to witness their growth and success throughout their apprenticeship programmes. The MEH Alliance is committed to providing them with a supportive and enriching environment where they can develop their skills and contribute to the success of the project.
