MEH spreads holiday cheer with donations to Open Door Taunton

As the festive season approaches, MEH has embraced the spirit of giving by launching their annual Christmas Appeal to support Open Door Taunton, a local charity helping the homeless community.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our volunteers who supported this appeal, and to Wilson James for assisting with the logistics of delivering these items to Open Door. Thank you to our team for their generous contributions of essential items such as warm clothing, blankets, food, and hygiene products.

The cost-of-living crisis has made it increasingly difficult for low-income households to keep up with their expenses, and this has contributed to homelessness. Open Door provides basics such as food, showers and clothing but also support people to move on from homelessness with education, employment, wellbeing and life-skills, and support with housing solutions.” – Sarah Silverwood, Senior Administrator.
